All clocks are original designs
and are signed and numbered limited editions of 50 or less.
None are mass produced.
-I personally craft each clock, not just supervise production and after an order is received. Nothing is
produced ahead of time, this allows you to fine tune your original clock.
Enhanced forms.
The sculpted shapes are enhanced by the combination of multiple exotic contrasting woods, gold & silver gilding, solid silver, brass, paint or lacquer & colored dyes. Wood stains are not used to enhance or even the color on any of the woods used, leaving the uncolored state of the exotic woods exposed to reveal their natural beauty and tone.
Unified design.
-The clocks, like the boxes, combine simple shapes and forms to achieve their unified design. I purposely rely on the textures and colors that are naturally present in the exotic woods, rather than depend on surface decoration to stimulate or distract the viewer. Wood is used for all clock parts, including the hands & pendulums. The exclusions are the obvious metal accents and the clock mechanism.
Meticulous finish & fit.
-All clocks go through a multi-step smoothing, finishing & polishing procedure, giving all surfaces
an unbelievably smooth lustrous glow.
Functional & accurate.
-Most of the clocks are intended to
set comfortably on a shelf, table or mantle except, of course, for wall clocks. Even though all clocks are functional objects, they're used as much as decorative accents as they are timepieces.
