Many of the boxes and clocks that I design and craft are appropriate for corporate awards, gifts and incentive programs. They can be personalized with laser logos and names, engraved brass name plates or without any identification.
For controlling cost on limited budgets, use existing or simplified designs, reduce size and use relatively common wood species. For more ambitious projects, original design work, rare or very exotic woods and accent materials like gold leaf, brass and silver can be part of the final piece. With a background in creative concept, design and supervision of advertising projects, I understand the
importance of creative flexibility. That's why these objects are not limited to just boxes and clocks. An example of this process is the walking stick (pictured under corporate awards) chosen as a historical symbol.
Pricing is accomplished by determining your budget restrictions, balancing that against your needs and designing a piece that fits both. All fees are quoted ahead of time and projects are guaranteed to deliver within budget, as long as changes or additions aren't made after the project is started. Costs for the two projects pictured are listed by clicking on the picture.

Box exampleThis box is a single hinged lid with extended sides acting as legs that elevate the box by about 1/2". The light colored wood is crafted from a single 2" thick block giving matching grain patterns between the lid and the bottom part of the box, and results in a visual treat for everyone who sees it. The box can also be fitted with a lift out tray, if wanted, for added versatility. A large variety of contrasting woods are available to choose from for this unusual box.
Clock example
This unique clock is crafted from "found wood", that's wood found laying on the forest floor from fallen trees, and is harvested from the 22 acres of forest where I live and work. The pieces used contain the juncture where branches grow from the main tree trunk. They are dried, cut lengthwise to reveal the attractive circular grain patterns, and then shaped like the example to hold the clock face like a hand. These clocks, although available in quantities, are all very different from each other. The photo is an example of this type of clock and is not intended to represent what all would look like.
